Mythe End
Life-changing support for adults with learning difficulties, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries and mental health conditions.
Type of property
Mythe End is part of a vibrant community, providing the perfect mix of independent living and collaborative, community support. Living in this shared house means individuals can benefit from a network of friends and staff, while having peace and quiet whenever they need it too. The semi-detached property has six bedrooms, each with an ensuite wet room style bathroom. The house also has a shared bathroom with a bath, a kitchen, laundry room, lounge and dining room. Mythe End is equipped with an intercom system, and a TV with cable and Sky TV. There is also a large accessible garden with a patio and BBQ. Next door, the other half of the semi-detached property is part of Lifeways too.
Valued in your community
Mythe End is located in the peaceful countryside, which offers tranquil walks when the weather is good. In nearby Tewkesbury, you’ll find all the local amenities you need including cafes, pubs, shops, nature reserves, as well as the John Moore Countryside Museum, the Roses Theatre. We also enjoy year-round access to Tewkesbury Leisure Centre for swimming and other fitness activities, or Tewkesbury Library for reading and other clubs. People choose how they spend their time - we enjoy day trips to Cheltenham and Worcester for the cinema, bowling, shopping and museums, or trips to the coast, theme parks including Drayton Manor and Alton Towers, and West Midland Safari Park.
Living at this service
Mythe End is a very large property, so individuals should have good mobility. Mythe End is home to one woman with autism, who enjoys peace and quiet, shopping, socialising and being an active part of the community. The other people we support here are all men who live with epilepsy, learning difficulties and autism. They all like being independent, spending time with family and staying active in the community. This is a very active household. Together people like listening to music, cooking, gardening, playing bingo and walking.
“Mythe End provides a friendly and homely atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful countryside. All of the staff here work really hard to help individuals achieve their goals.” Manager, Mythe End
