Arundel
Life-changing support for adults with mental health conditions.
Type of property
At Arundel, people are supported to live independently. This six-bedroom house has a kitchen, dining room, lounge area and laundry room. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. There is an accessible garden with a patio for people to spend time relaxing outside when the weather is good.
Valued in your community
At Arundel, we are located in Toxteth, a short walk from both Sefton, Wave and Toxteth Parks. The local area has many cafes, pubs, restaurants, and shops. For people who like to stay active, Momentum Leisure Centre provides year-round access to a gym and swimming pool. Liverpool is easily accessible from the property. Here, people can enjoy numerous museums and art galleries, Liverpool ONE Shopping Centre, the Liverpool Empire, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, and Imagine That Science and Discovery Centre. And we’re spoilt for choice for beautiful walks - the docks, Toxteth Park, Wavertree Botanic Gardens and Sefton Park are just a small selection. Liverpool is also home to The Reader Organisation - a charity specialising in shared reading to improve mental wellbeing. Located in Calderstones Park, people can visit the Reader Cafe or the Storybarn to join shared reading sessions, where stories are read aloud and then discussed.
Living at this service
Arundel is ideal for a person aged between 20 and 40. The people we support here enjoy a peaceful environment and being independent, so someone with a similar outlook is very welcome. At Arundel, we support both men and women with mental health conditions. Their interests include going to the cinema, gaming, nights out with friends, watching television, walking, shopping, cooking, gardening, swimming, listening to music, and being in the community
“Arundel has an excellent team of staff who interact with the people we support. The household has a friendly and homely atmosphere. We’re close to Liverpool city centre but the area is still peaceful.” Manager, Arundel
