Arps Road
Life-changing support for adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, or individuals living on the autistic spectrum.
Type of property
Arps House is a bungalow located in a quaint residential area where people are actively supported to live independently. This two-bed property is wheelchair accessible and has a communal kitchen, living and dining room, as well as a wet room style shared bathroom. There is also an accessible garden with patio, which is shared with the four other neighbouring bungalows.
Valued in your community
At Arps Road, we place people’s personal interests, needs and aspirations at the heart of absolutely everything we do. We are located in Codsall - a lovely village with small shops, a bakery, cafes and pubs. Nearby Wolverhampton offers a more vibrant environment, with high-street banks and shops, the Arena Theatre or Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Wolverhampton Central Library, and the Light House Cinema. Nearby Codsall Leisure Centre also provides year-round access to swimming and other exercise classes. We also take regular trips to a local day centre or to the coast.
Living at this service
Arps Road is ideal for a woman aged between 40 and 65. The current resident is a woman in her late 50s. She has learning difficulties and enjoys cooking, baking, colouring and reading. She appreciates a quiet yet social atmosphere at the bungalow, as well as spending time with her family and in the community. The people we support enjoy socialising, walking, going for lunch and spending time in the community, both with family or with our staff.
“At Arps Road, the staff love their job and pride themselves on making the bungalow feel like a real home. They create a true family environment where people bake and do other activities together. People who live here feel happy, and so do we.” Manager, Arps Road
