Assistive technology is built-in and tailored to each individual and the service is secured by CCTV and an intercom system.

The Lifeways team listen to what each person wants and the life they would like to live, embracing collaboration and co-production to create positive outcomes. At quarterly meetings chaired by the Co-Production Ambassador, people plan new activities and discuss any issues. Trips to Blackpool, Cadbury World and other attractions are popular, and the Sunday Carvery at pubs Mill Farm and The Nest are favourites. The Fir Tree Court Walking Club explore the community on foot and some individuals recently took part in the Chasewater County Park Colour Run. In the summer, people enjoy socialising in the gardens, with regular table tennis tournaments.
